State Farm was honored as the 2008 Corporate Partner of the Year by OCA Aug. 2 at the Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA) convention in Washington, D.C. Ken Lam, VPO Heartland, accepted the award on behalf of State Farm.

Elaine Chu has accepted a position as financial analyst at Casey Family Programs/Foundation, a Seattle nonprofit agency focused on improving the lives of youths in foster care. Chu helped chair a recent Women of Color Empowered luncheon and is a new member of the Women’s University Club. (end)
