Like Vu, Minh Nguyen’s family also incorporates Vietnamese dishes into a traditional Thanksgiving meal. “Besides some traditional American dishes, we also have spring rolls and tempura shrimps, and for desserts, we like banana chè (a coconut-based pudding),” said Nguyen.
