Indian gang rapists charged with murder

By Staff The Associated Press NEW DELHI, India — Indian police charged six men with murder on Saturday, adding to accusations that they beat and gang-raped a woman on a New Delhi bus nearly two weeks ago in a case that shocked the country.

Wife: NY man wanted in Bhopal gas leak ‘haunted’

BRIDGEHAMPTON, New York (AP) – The former head of the chemical company responsible for the gas leak that killed thousands of people in Bhopal, India, 25 years ago has been “haunted” for years by the world’s worst industrial disaster, his wife said Saturday, Aug. 1.
