Tateuchi Foundation awards $175,000 grant to ICHS

On Oct. 21, the Atsuhiko and Ina Goodwin Tateuchi Foundation awarded a grant of $175,000 to the International Community Health Services (ICHS) Foundation to support women’s health care access.

White House posthumously honors Indian American activist Vijaya Emani

Social Security benefits increases 3.6 percent for 2012

The Social Security Administration announced on Nov. 1 that monthly Social Security benefits will increase 3.6 percent in 2012. This cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) is the first since 2009.
