Ethnic Uighur journalist detained in China

BEIJING (AP) — Chinese police have jailed an outspoken Uighur journalist for allegedly endangering national security, a colleague said on Oct. 30, adding to the scores of detentions reported in the restive Xinjiang region since deadly ethnic rioting erupted there four months ago.

The Chinese Communist Party enslaves, tortures, imprisons, and murders Chinese citizens who dare to question its oppressive and cruel policies. This includes practitioners of Falun Gong.

Muslim minority riots erupt in China’s west

BEIJING (AP) — Nearly 1,000 protesters from a Muslim ethnic group rioted in China’s far west, overturning barricades, attacking bystanders, and clashing with police in violence that killed at least three people, including a policeman, state media and witnesses said.
