Approximately 100 people attended the 50th anniversary luncheon of Seattle’s Jade Guild on May 22 at China Harbor restaurant. The Chinese women’s service organization event honored its late founder, Ruth Chinn, who was also the co-founder of United Savings and Loan, the first Asian American-owned savings and loan in the country.
