Thai PM dissolves house of Parliament, calls elections

By Todd Pitman Associated Press BANGKOK (AP) – Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said Dec. 9 she will dissolve the lower house of Parliament and call elections in an attempt to calm the country’s deepening political crisis.
