April 17: The Wing celebrates a century of stories
The Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience held its annual dinner and auction while also celebrating the 100-year anniversary of its home, the East Kong Yick. Festivities included an art auction with works by celebrated Asian Pacific American and Northwest artists, a family-style dinner, performances, and special guests like U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke and his wife, Mona. About 450 people attended.
