Sisters Yenvy and Quynh-vy Pham, the family behind Seattle’s beloved Phở Bắc restaurants, are bringing the spirit of Vietnamese hospitality to home kitchens with the Nov. 3 release of their debut cookbook, Phonomenal Nights.

The cookbook celebrates the Vietnamese tradition of gathering around food, emphasizing abundance, sharing and connection.
The Pham sisters have deep roots and a longstanding presence in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District, particularly the Little Saigon neighborhood. Their family’s restaurant legacy dates to 1982, when their parents opened the original Phở Bắc.
The book features 208 pages of Vietnamese-inspired recipes and entertaining ideas, including shareable dishes, tableside wraps, party boards, dumplings, one-pot meals and inventive cocktails. The book reflects the sisters’ belief that a memorable gathering is less about formal entertaining and more about making everyone feel welcome at the table.
