Seattle Public Library patrons have two new ways to show their love of books.
Local artist Ning Wan designed the Library’s new “Book Club Card,” depicting sea creatures gathered for an underwater book club. The playful design highlights the Library as a place where everyone can find a book and a community.
It’s one of two new artist-designed cards, the Library’s first new designs in eight years. Artist Diego Fidelis created the other, “The Journey Card.”
Patrons can choose from six designs, with most available as wallet cards, keychain cards or both. Existing cardholders can exchange their cards for a new design at any Library location.
