Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell holds a lead over challenger Katie Wilson in initial returns from Tuesday’s election.
As of the last count on Nov. 7, Harrell had about 50% of the vote to Wilson’s 48%.
Because Washington conducts elections entirely by mail, and the outcome of this race remains uncertain until more ballots are tallied.
