Television anchor moves and a new face

Linzi Sheldon has been promoted to weekend evening anchor at KIRO-TV. Sheldon, a Filipina, spent three years on the weekend morning anchor desk. She is also a general assignment and investigative reporter.

Sheldon was born in Richmond, British Columbia and grew up in the Okanogan Valley.

The new face at KIRO 7 is Patranya Bhoolsuwan; she was born in Bangkok, Thailand. Bhoolsuwan grew up a diplomatic brat and traveled around the world with her family. She moved to the U.S. to pursue her dreams of becoming a reporter. She mentors aspiring journalists as part of the Asian American Journalists Association.
