Latana Thaviseth has been named the new coordinator of the Northwest Asian Weekly Foundation’s Summer Youth Leadership Program (SYLP).
Thaviseth is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She got her masters degree in Higher Education and Organizational Change from the same school. Prior to entering graduate school, Thaviseth was the first Southeast Asian American recruitment coordinator at the University of Washington (UW). She received her bachelor’s degree from the UW.
