Ribbon cutting
The new Din Tai Fung restaurant held its grand opening in the University Village on Dec. 29. By 5:30 p.m., about 150 people were waiting in line for the 6 p.m. dinner. Originally from Taiwan, Din Tai Fung also has a restaurant in Bellevue, and three others in southern California.
Currently, Din Tai Fung is open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (end)
