March 25: Qwest employees raise $3,300 for Japan through lunch

Qwest held a luncheon to benefit the Red Cross’ Japan Tsunami Relief Fund. Qwest employees donated Filipino and other Asian food items for other employees to purchase for charity.

About $3,300 was raised.

The event was sponsored by Qwest employee groups, which included the Alliance of Black Telecommunications Professionals, Qwest Women, Pacific Asian American Network, SOMOS (Latino employees), Employee Association for Gays and Lesbians, and Qwest Pioneers (community volunteers). ♦
