May 6: Local celebrities announced as honorary chairs for 17th annual Cure

The Susan G. Komen Puget Sound Race for the Cure affiliate announced six local celebrities as honorary chairs: Brooke Fox and Monti Carlo from Movin 92.5, Jean Enersen from KING 5, Michelle Millman from KIRO-TV, Filipino American Maria Arcega-Dunn from Q13 FOX, and Rocio Luquero from KUNS 51.

Each chair will act as a Komen ambassador for the year. Each woman has a unique connection to breast cancer and will educate and help increase awareness in the community.

Arcega-Dunn is an Emmy Award winning journalist. Prior to moving to Seattle, Arcega-Dunn was an evening anchor and reporter for FOX 6 in San Diego. ♦
