Marcine Anderson is sworn in as judge in Shoreline District Court by Washington State Supreme Court Justice Susan Owens on March 12.
At a formal ceremony, Judge Marcine Anderson was sworn in to the Shoreline District Court, the first Asian American woman to do so. The swearing-in was conducted by Washington State Supreme Court Justice Susan Owens at the courthouse in Shoreline.
Anderson earned her law degree from Suffolk University Law School. Since 1997, she has served first as judge pro temporare (substitute judge) for the Municipal Court of Seattle and then for the King County District Court. ♦
