The 20 highest bidders of the Tom Douglas Dinner — auctioned earlier this spring at the Wing Luke Asian Museum Auction — enjoyed a feast at the home of Uwajimaya CEO Tomoko Matsuno, accompanied by special guests Edgar Martinez and his wife Holli. Chef Tom Douglas prepared his famous crab cakes and crab foo-yung among many other dishes featured in the Uwajimaya’s “Arigato! Thank You” 80th anniversary celebrity cookbook.
The dinner raised $10,000 for the museum. ♦
