What options are available?
On Washington Healthplanfinder, health insurance plans must meet certain quality rules. Each plan must cover doctor and ER visits, prescriptions, prenatal and postnatal care, mental health treatment, lab tests and more. Beyond that, there is a tier system sorted by Bronze, Silver and Gold levels that allow you to customize your health plan based on your healthcare needs in the next year.
What is Cascade Care?
When health and insurance are more important than ever, Cascade Care caters to people who need high-value coverage. Cascade Care plans, only available through Washington Healthplanfinder, are easy to compare and cover more services before the deductible is met. Services covered include primary care visits, mental health services and generic prescriptions. Preventive care is free. These plans have the same deductible, copays and co-insurance at each metal level (Bronze, Silver or Gold) making it easy to compare by price, doctors in-network and insurance company.
Cascade Care Savings helps cover some of the cost of monthly premiums in Washington state. For people making minimum wage or less — $39,900 per year for a one-person household and $68,300 for a three-person household — and who enroll in a Cascade Care Silver or Gold plan, there is more help available.
