Seattle restaurant Revel will close Dec. 20, 2026, ending a 16-year run.
Chef Rachel Yang and her husband and restaurant partner, Seif Chirchi, announced the closure in an Instagram post. The couple opened Revel in 2010 as a more casual sibling to Joule, their acclaimed Korean-inspired restaurant.
The restaurant invited customers to return during its final six weeks to celebrate its history and share memories before its last service Dec. 20.
In its announcement, Revel thanked its staff, past and present, as well as the customers and community members.
The owners described the decision to close as devastating, reflecting on the restaurant’s evolution from a business into a community gathering place.
Revel also hinted at a new venture and the owners said they look forward to sharing more about what comes next.
