Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers Douglas Linn and Dennis Oishi made a frightening find at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport this week, when they pulled a claw-like device resembling a mash-up between Wolverine-style claws and Freddy Krueger blades from luggage going through a TSA checkpoint on Tuesday.
“I saw three blades and distinct claw-like features,” Linn said. “I was amazed, and even more so when it came out of the bag. I have never seen anything like this during my two years at TSA.”

In its announcement of the find, the TSA said that the passenger had forgotten the device was in their carry-on bag until Oishi removed it. The passenger voluntarily abandoned it at the checkpoint.
