Facebook/Consulate-General of Japan in Seattle
The Consulate-General of Japan in Seattle announced “J Spark Seattle” on its Facebook page. That is the new name of its collaborative event series aimed at bringing young Japanese Americans together to connect with Japan, exchange ideas and build new relationships.
Consul General Hirota announced the name Sept. 24 during an event featuring retired KING 5 anchor Lori Matsukawa. Deputy Consul General Tsuge also presented “Japan Then and Now,” a program highlighting Japan’s past and present.
