Harry Shum Jr. is trading the screen for the ballroom.
The actor and trained dancer will compete on Season 35 of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” joining a cast of celebrities vying for the Mirrorball Trophy. Shum will be paired with professional dancer Jenna Johnson.
Shum, 44, is of Chinese descent and no stranger to dance. He gained recognition through the “Step Up” film franchise before landing his breakout role as Mike Chang on Fox’s musical comedy-drama “Glee.”
He later expanded his career, appearing in the Oscar-winning “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” Most recently, Shum appeared in “Letters to Isabelle.”
Season 35 of “Dancing With the Stars,” premieres on ABC over two nights, Sept. 15 and 16.
