Travelers using the International District/Chinatown Station should expect delays and allow extra travel time on Sunday, July 26, when shuttle buses replace 2 Line trains between the station and South Bellevue for planned maintenance on the Crosslake Connection.
The service disruption will affect only the segment between International District/Chinatown and South Bellevue. The 2 Line will continue operating normally between South Bellevue and Downtown Redmond.
Free shuttle buses will run every 10 to 15 minutes, stopping at all stations along the affected route.
Passengers traveling east on the 2 Line will need to leave the train at International District/Chinatown Station and board a shuttle bus to South Bellevue, where they can reconnect with Link light rail. Westbound riders will make the reverse transfer at South Bellevue before continuing by shuttle to International District/Chinatown.
1 Line trains will run every eight minutes from the start of service until about 7 p.m., providing more frequent connections through the Chinatown-International District and to destinations including Lynnwood and Federal Way.
