The Japanese Garden in the Washington Park Arboretum reopened this week, Seattle Parks and Recreation announced on its Facebook page, giving visitors a chance to once again enjoy the peaceful landscape and upcoming summer programs.
The garden’s next Free First Thursday on Aug. 6 will offer free admission from noon until closing, along with the return of Wandering & Wondering, a Japanese dance performance that brings movement and music into the garden setting.
During the three-hour event, dancers and musicians will appear throughout the garden in unexpected spots.
