Seattle’s free summer dance series, Dancing Til Dusk, returns for its 2026 season with 16 evenings of live music, beginner dance lessons and social dancing in parks across the city through Aug. 30.
Among the featured venues is Hing Hay Park in the Chinatown-International District, which will host two more Thursday night events from 6 to 9 p.m.
The events feature the Golden Earrings Jazz Band performing vintage jazz and swing on July 23 and The Long Ovals with Casey McGill and Birch Pereira performing swing on July 30.
Dancing Til Dusk offers a one-hour beginner dance lesson before each event, followed by live music and open dancing. No partner is required, and organizers encourage participants to rotate partners during lessons, though attendees may bring their own partner if they prefer.
