Cedric Eneluna
Friends and loved ones are mourning the loss of Airman 1st Class Cedric Eneluna.
Eneluna, 23, joined the military in 2024. He died on July 16, 2026 following an incident at Vandenberg Space Force Base when the heavy equipment Eneluna was operating rolled down an embankment.
Eneluna spent his childhood in the Philippines and called Fayetteville, North Carolina, his hometown.
His teammates described him as a positive influence who approached every challenge with determination, embraced every opportunity to serve, and made everyone around him feel welcome.
U.S. Space Force Col. James T. Horne III, commander of Space Launch Delta 30 and Vandenberg Space Force Base said, “He made a lasting impression on his teammates through his character, dedication, and genuine care for others.”
Units at Vandenberg are currently supporting a Safety Investigation Board. The official cause of death has not been determined by the Santa Barbara Coroner’s office.
