The Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Area (CIDBIA) will host its annual CID National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. on South Lane Street next to the Donnie Chin International Children’s Park.
The free, family-friendly event invites people to connect with one another while enjoying barbecue, ice cream and summer activities. Organizations, such as the CID Public Safety Council, REACH and the International District Emergency Center (IDEC), will share information and resources focused on neighborhood safety and services.
Attendees can also participate in a de-escalation training, learn about personal and public safety resources, and children will have the opportunity to tour a Seattle fire truck and ambulance.
The event is free and open to all ages.
