The Neely Mansion will host “100 Years of Kimonos,” a free exhibition showcasing Japanese garments dating from the 1860s through the 1960s, on Saturday, July 25.

Collector and amateur historian Devin Dondero will present a selection of historic kimonos and discuss their history, craftsmanship and the cultural influences reflected in their designs. A kimono dressing demonstration is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Visitors also can tour the historic Neely Mansion and its 1930 Japanese bathhouse, built by one of the two Japanese farming families that leased the property for more than 20 years.
The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. at Neely Mansion, 12303 S.E. Auburn-Black Diamond Road in Auburn.
Admission is free, and donations are appreciated.
