Officers responded around 3:35 p.m. to the 300 block of 10th Avenue and found the 37-year-old victim unharmed.
Investigators said the suspect was prowling the woman’s car in a locked parking lot when he pulled a knife and threatened her before running along South Jackson Street.
Police later located and arrested the man with help from surveillance cameras monitored by the department’s Real Time Crime Center. Officers also recovered the knife.
