Angela Song
Seattle City Light Transportation Electrification Portfolio Manager Angela Song was recently awarded the Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award from the Puget Sound Chapter of Women’s Transportation Seminar.
The award honors individuals who promote diversity, inclusion, and multicultural awareness within the transportation industry.
Song was nominated by her peers and supporters from Women of Electric Vehicles—an organization she co-founded to build a more diverse and inclusive EV industry.
“[This award] means a lot,” Angela shared. “This work isn’t always easy. It requires shifting how people think about something they’ve relied on their entire lives, gas and diesel, and helping connect that to bigger issues like climate change and public health.”
