Jason Moon
Jason Moon, president of the Mukilteo City Council, and a 40-year South Snohomish County resident, announced his campaign on March 1 for State Representative in Washington’s 21st Legislative District, Position 1.
A Korean American born in Chicago and raised locally since 1985, Moon said he is running because too many residents feel unheard on the issues that matter most—financial responsibility, housing density, homelessness, drug impacts, and public safety.
Moon currently serves as Vice President of the National League of Cities (NLC) Asian Pacific American Municipal Officials and sits on NLC’s Energy, Environment & Natural Resources Federal Advocacy Committee. He was appointed to the Washington State Wildlife Diversity Advisory Council and has built a career in strategic communications, public-sector partnerships, and community engagement.
