KOMO 4 anchor May Nam announced on Wednesday that she will leave the Seattle television station at the end of the month.
“2026 is the right time for me to take the leap,” she shared in an email to co-workers. “Beyond that, I’m not sure what is next but given how long it’s taken me to tiptoe to this ledge, falling into the next chapter will be the easy part. (Metaphor over. Don’t ask me about the landing)” she added.
Nam—who’s Korean American—joined KOMO News in 2003 after beginning her journalism career in Spokane at KXLY-TV.
Her last day anchoring the evening news will be March 31.
