Police are investigating a stabbing in Chinatown-International District that left a man seriously injured.
Shortly after midnight on Wednesday, March 18, officers received reports of a stabbing at an apartment in the 900 block of South Jackson Street. Officers arrived and found a 38-year-old man suffering from stab wounds to the head and neck. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious but stable condition.
A 24-year-old woman was taken into custody.
The police investigation revealed the man and woman were involved in an altercation, and the man was pepper sprayed shortly before the stabbing.
The woman was booked for investigation of assault at the King County Jail.
