Michelle Yeoh will receive a Hollywood Walk of Fame star on Feb. 18.
Yeoh, a Malaysian actress who has risen to fame through her work in prominent films such as 2022’s “Everything Everywhere All At Once”—for which she made history as the first Asian woman to win an Oscar for Best Actress—and multi-award-winning film “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” will receive the walk’s 2,836th star at 11:30 am Pacific Time. Yeoh’s star will be in the category of Motion Pictures.
Directors Jon M. Chu, who directed Yeoh films “Crazy Rich Asians” and “Wicked,” and Ang Lee, who directed “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,” will join emcee Jenelle Riley. The event will be livestreamed.
