Seventy-six people attended the Chinatown–International District Business Improvement Area (CIDBIA)’s 2026 Annual Ratepayer Meeting, an in-person event that reviewed the district’s progress and outlined priorities for the coming year.
The meeting last month included a recap of 2025, public safety highlights and sanitation updates, and overviews of district operations and current initiatives.

Attendees received a preview of the 2026 Small Business Accelerator Project, along with a look ahead at upcoming priorities and projects.

The program also recognized the CID Safety Ambassadors. Norman Chen, chief executive officer of The Asian American Foundation, thanked the ambassadors for their service and partnership in supporting safety and community well-being in the neighborhood.
The CIDBIA has served the Chinatown–International District since 1994.
