The Lacey City Council has proclaimed Jan. 13, 2026, as Korean American Day, encouraging the community to recognize and celebrate the contributions of Korean Americans.
The proclamation was adopted during the council’s Jan. 6 meeting. City leaders are urging local businesses, organizations and residents to observe the day and join the city in promoting a welcoming environment and a culture of belonging.
