Among the semifinalists are two Seattle restaurants and 15 additional chefs, bars, and bakers from Washington state. The AAPI nominees include Aaron Verzosa of Archipelago as Outstanding Chef; Melissa Miranda of Musang and Thai Nguyen and Trinh Nguyen of Ramie as nominees for Best Chef: Northwest and Pacific; and Anu Apte of Rob Roy as nominee for Outstanding Professional in Cocktail Service.
The James Beard Foundation will reveal the finalists online on March 31. Winners will be announced at a ceremony in Chicago on June 15.
