The Asian Hall of Fame said it awarded $1.2 million in grants and scholarships in 2025 to support education, workforce development and community programs, capping a year of expanded national programming as the nonprofit prepares for a historic season tied to America’s 250th anniversary.
The awards went to 177 fellows, scholarship recipients and community partners, the organization said. Since 2021, the charity has advanced a cumulative $4.2 million and helped support 1,270 jobs, according to figures released by the group.
Founded to honor lifetime achievement while investing in future leaders, the Asian Hall of Fame said it doubled its peer-to-peer experiences this year and launched new interracial community benefits in Bellevue, Washington; Portland, Oregon; and Pasadena, California. Those efforts generated broad visibility, including billions of media impressions and livestreams reaching households nationwide, the organization said.
Looking ahead, the Asian Hall of Fame announced a coast-to-coast season commemorating the nation’s 250th anniversary.
The season is set to open in Honolulu. Scholarships for women will be underwritten by the California Icons Gala, Eastside Excellence in Washington state and Power of Portland, while cognitive health and trauma advocacy grants will be supported by launch events in New York and Sunnyvale, California.
The celebration will culminate Nov. 7 at Induction 2026, a multi-platform broadcast planned for nationwide distribution across the organization’s social media and streaming networks.
