Washington State Book Awards, which honors outstanding books written by Washington state authors, named E.J. Koh of Seattle, the winner of its Biography/Memoir award.
Koh translated her mother’s Korean letters into English and incorporated them into her memoir, ‘The Magical Language of Others,’ which was published in 2020.
