Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) kicked off its 28th annual Walk for Rice on June 30 at Seward Park.
The event raised funds for the ACRS Food Bank, located in Chinatown — one of the most visited food banks in King County, and the only one in the state that regularly provides food for the Asian community such as rice, tofu, noodles, fish, and fresh produce.
This year, ACRS wanted to send a message in solidarity with immigrants and refugees: families belong together.
