More than 100 people attended a farewell party for Mike Fong — who resigned as Seattle Mayor Ed Murray’s chief of staff to join the King County executive office.
The gathering took place on Aug. 29 at Fadó Irish Pub in Pioneer Square.
Murray said in a statement, “We will miss the steady leadership and wit Mike has brought to this office and to the city.”
Fred Kiga, chief of staff for former governor Gary Locke, replaced Fong on Sept. 5. ■
