On July 15 and 16, Bon Odori took place at the Seattle Betsuin Buddhist Temple. Bon Odori is a traditional Japanese summer festival in which ancestors are remembered and honored.
Bon Odori is an official Seafair festival and featured traditional Japanese music, dress, and dancing. The event also had food booths, as well as taiko and martial arts performances and demonstrations.
