Custom made stained glass windows for a music room.

Joby Shimomura is celebrating the opening of a stained glass studio in downtown Olympia on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8.

Shimomura worked in politics for over 25 years, most recently as Chief of Staff to Gov. Jay Inslee. She returned to her career as a stained glass artist in January.

At her new Olympia studio, Shimomura will be designing contemporary, custom stained glass windows for clients and creating one-of-a-kind pieces.
