The concrete sign at Donnie Chin International Children’s Park has been updated to reflect the park’s new name. The sign formerly read “International Children’s Park” — the original name of the park, on the northeast corner of Seventh Avenue and South Lane streets. It was officially renamed over the summer after the late first responder and neighborhood hero.
Chin was shot and killed in July 2015. His murder remains unsolved.
