The Northwest Asian Weekly presented a $2,000 check to Rep. Sharon Tomiko Santos on Oct. 17. The money came from sponsors of the Sept. 3–9 issue “Remembering Bob Santos,” including ACRS, CISC, InterIm, and the Port of Seattle in a later issue. Tomiko Santos designated the money to InterIm, which bore the cost of her late husband’s Sept. 23 memorial at the WAMU Theater at CenturyLink Field. Uncle Bob Santos passed away on Aug. 27.
