Sharon Yuan
On Feb. 12, President Barack Obama announced his intention to nominate Sharon Yuan as a member of the Panel of Arbitrators of the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes.
Yuan is a principal with The Asia Group, LLC, a position she has held since 2015. She served as deputy assistant secretary for Trade and Investment Policy in the Office of International Markets and Development at the Department of the Treasury from 2009 to 2015, and concurrently served as executive secretary and senior coordinator for China Affairs and the Strategic and Economic Dialogue from 2012 to 2015.
