Retired figure skater Michelle Kwan was on the campaign trail for Hillary Clinton in Seattle. On March 10, she attended fundraisers for the Democratic candidate.
One was hosted by Mimi Gan and Everett Billingslea in their Seattle home, alongside former governor and U.S. Ambassador Gary Locke, Virginia Anderson, and Martha Choe. The event was attended by more than 60 guests and raised more than $40,000.
Since her 2006 retirement, the two-time Olympic medalist has served as a public diplomacy ambassador, hired by then-Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and continuing on in the Obama administration working with Clinton.
