On Feb. 12, University of Washington (UW) student volunteers presented 40 booths at the CulturalFest International Expo featuring more than 35 different countries, regions, and cultures. The event was held in the Husky Union Building ballroom at the UW.
Produced by the Foundation for International Understanding Through Students (FIUTS), the event draws nearly 2,000 visitors.
FIUTS connects students to local and global communities through programs that build international awareness, cross-cultural understanding, and informed leadership. FIUTS was founded in 1948 as an independent nonprofit organization affiliated with the UW. (end)
