The Seattle City Council announced that Monday, Aug. 10, 2015 would be officially proclaimed “Jefferson Community Center Mock Trial Day.”
The mock trial team is comprised of a community of youth. There have been more than 150 youth members who have participated in the mock trials, the emphasis being the focus on critical reasoning. The program is self-funding, with most funding provided by donations from the community, solicited by the Mock Trial team members. (end)
